Nasir Morales – Editor

Nasir Morales was born May 8th, 2002, in Washington Heights, New York to the parents of Nikisha Turner and Lamont Morales. He grew up in the Bronx and Harlem going to public elementary school in upper Manhattan and attended CHAH Junior High School which is the acronym of Community Health Academy of the Heights. After graduating from junior high school, Nasir attended Morris Town High School in Morris Town New Jersey, where he also played on the junior varsity basketball team as a sophomore. Nasir always had the love of playing basketball by being in different tournaments around New York City. During the summer of 2019 on his way being a senior in high school he was a part of the AAU and Eric Bowles basketball programs, where not only his team won the championship but also was the MVP, averaging twenty plus points a game. Nasir also grew up going to church singing in the children’s choir and being a junior usher to now an adult usher. Nasir developed a love of acting and film editing as a junior and senior in high school. After graduating from high school in 2020, Nasir attended Iona college that Fall for a semester and transferred to County College of Morris in Morris Town New Jersey to study Broadcast Media. One of Nasir’s main decisions for the transfer was, due to having the animation courses besides film editing. For the past 2 years Nasir has been interning as a videographer and film editor, with K&L Productions Records and Films Studio a company owned by his father Lamont Morales with Callison Dennis aka Katmando. Nasir also has a YouTube channel called Nazzy Films. After graduating from college Nasir plans to go full speed ahead of getting with a film editing union and start on his first film project called “Hustle and Go” and continue to work on more content with film, acting and production company Nazzy films.
