Everything.The StoryNasir Morales was born May 8th, 2002 in Washington Heights, New York to Nikisha Turner and Lamont Morales. Raised between the Bronx and Harlem, Nasir attended public elementary school in upper Manhattan before enrolling at CHAH Junior High School — Community Health Academy of the Heights. From there he headed to Morris Town High School in New Jersey, where he suited up for the junior varsity basketball team as a sophomore — bringing that same Bronx hunger to the court.
Not just a player — the MVP. AAU Champion. 20+ points a game.
The summer of 2019 — heading into senior year — Nasir was locked in with both the AAU and Eric Bowles basketball programs. His team took the championship and Nasir walked away as MVP, averaging over twenty points a game. That competitive fire wasn't just on the court — it carried into everything he touched.
Church raised and community rooted, Nasir grew up singing in the children's choir and serving as a junior usher — now an adult usher. But it was in his junior and senior years that a new calling emerged: acting and film editing. The screen became his new court.
After graduating in 2020, Nasir enrolled at Iona College before making a strategic move to County College of Morris in New Jersey to study Broadcast Media — drawn specifically by the animation courses alongside film editing. For the past two years he's been grinding as a videographer and film editor at K&L Productions Records and Films — the studio owned by his father Lamont Morales alongside Callison Dennis aka Katmando. His YouTube channel Nazzy Films is already building a following.
Next stop: a film union. First project: "Hustle and Go."
After graduation, Nasir is going full speed ahead — locking in with a film editing union and launching his debut project "Hustle and Go", while continuing to build out Nazzy Films as a full film, acting and production company. The Bronx bred him. K&L sharpened him. The industry better be ready.
