The Crown Debate: Cornbread vs. Taki 183 — Who Really Started Graffiti?
The origin debate never dies. The world wants to know if CORNBREAD in Philly or TAKI 183 in New York deserves the crown.
BUTCH2: No actual answer to that one, although the controversial question is asked many times. Some say "Taki 193" NYC. some say 'Cornbread' Philly. Graffiti even goes further back to hobos who rode the rails tagging their names.
